Springtime by DY 2nd Grade

I was going through the schoolwork D brought home yesterday ( I keep EVERYTHING in a Rubbermaid tote).

When I read this poem she wrote, I said, "Wow!"

So, this proud Mama will share with you an original work by DY:

SPRINGTIME
It's Easter, a grand old day,
eggs are hidden in every which way.
Rabbits hop all day long,
bees buzz along, small but strong.
Children play there and here,
I can tell that Spring is near.

Very creative! She did a great job! By the way, I got your message on my blog and I'll send you an email.

Wow! That's great. You could make your own spring cards with that poem.

I found your blog through Kate and just love it! Congratulations! We adopted our two youngest from Irkutsk. One in '04, and then a four year battle that FINALLY brought his bio. little brother home.

I hope to read more of YOUR journey!
